We gotta take all the experience we learned in this world, and go to the next.” We can’t stay in this fictional world forever,” Himiko said. “Then, we need to see for ourselves whether this world has changed the outside world,” Maki added. “We stand with one foot in fiction, and one foot in reality.” That’s what I believe,” Shuichi concurred. “I guess it’s not important whether it’s a truth or lie,” Himiko guessed, “just what it leads to.” All that hardship leading to a potentially better ending.

They were finally free to leave and start anew in a world without a clear fate after far too many seasons of Danganronpa. Rising from the rubble of the prison-like school felled by Kiibo’s sacrifice to take the establishment and its Mastermind down with him, three survivors stood looking towards the outside world. Six trials of pain, loss, agony, and despair leading up to the destruction of the Ultimate Academy for Gifted Juveniles. (See the end of the chapter for more notes.) Talents will be revealed in the next chapter, so be on the lookout for that one! And now, let's begin the show, shall we? It ain't my first Talentswap, but it is the first I've written to story form! Have fun, everyone! ♥ Count on it being seen to the end, but here's hoping.įirst chapter features two characters created by her (Hoshimi and Michi), but the other one I just made up out of the blue. I hope I get to finish this fic, but I won't make promises on doing so. we took it up to 11 and this was the mad result of it all, in addition to quite a few complaints we had about V3's. This is the result of many recent RP's done with a dear friend of mine (who recently signed up for AO3 go check out her oh-so very marvelous KH works! :3), so I also have her to thank for sparking this idea to begin with all from an Instagram post she'd shown me. Just when I thought I'd never write more than just oneshots for Dangan Ronpa, I wind up lying to myself, don't I? This indicates that Pacific oyster spat may limit predation loss faster compared to native bivalves, which commonly depend on size to reduce predation rates. Additional experiments revealed that the attachment of oysters is probably limiting predation by brown shrimps rather than the size of the spat. Predation rates decreased rapidly as the spat grew larger and reached zero within 10 days after settlement of the spat (shell length > 700 μm). At this stage the shell length of oyster spat is around ~ 300 μm, and around 50% of the individuals in the experiment were consumed in the two hour trials. Our results demonstrate that spat of Pacific oysters are most susceptible to predation by brown shrimps ( Crangon crangon) in the first days after settlement, when attachment to the substrate (unglazed tiles in our study) is still absent or weak. Therefore, we examined predation rates of brown shrimps on Pacific oyster spat in a number of laboratory experiments. Nevertheless, observations and experiments on predation rates on early life-stages of the Pacific oyster are rare. One of the driving mechanisms for the success of the Pacific oyster could be a relatively low predation pressure by epibenthic predators and shore birds on oyster spat.

In the last decades, the invasive Pacific oyster ( Crassostrea gigas) increased dramatically in the Wadden Sea.
